Welcome to Burton Day coffee morning Sat 15th March 2025

Our next Welcome to Burton Day will be on Saturday 15th March from 10am until 12 noon. In addition to offering deliciously tempting cakes and our HUGE used bookstall, we are inviting village groups to come along and showcase what they do and encourage people to get involved in the various groups and activities that happen in the hall, at school, or on the MUGA. We also welcome locals who provide a service to come along and take part and reach a wider audience. Here at BurtonWeb we are coffee lovers, so when we found a new coffee roastery almost on our doorstep we couldn't resist finding out more about it. Suzi and Alex Carrington have set up their roastery on the Keer Park trading estate in Carnforth and sell a range of wonderful coffees.

SAVE GRANGE LIDO

Since May 2018 we have been actively involved in the campaign to restore the derelict Grange Lido at Grange over Sands. The campaign group is now a Community Benefit Society and is working with Westmorland and Furness Council, the site's owners, on restoration plans.
